THE COMPANY

Our client is a well-established boutique accounting firm that has been around for more than 18 years. The firm was set up by a very experienced Accountant who was so successful at what she did that the clients kept following her and the business continues to grow. 100% of the business comes from referrals and recommendations, they don’t need to advertise and just continue to gain clients due to their success. They have a very stable, varied and friendly client base that ranges from high net wealth clients, mining services, building and construction, medical, professional services, farming and property development. The clients have been around for a long time, so they have a very good working relationship, which makes work more enjoyable and rewarding.

Their Offices in South Perth are bright, modern, spacious, and open planned and are located close to the stunning Swan River – so if you fancy a stroll during your lunch break or if you wish to have a scenic commute to work then make the most of the scenery. They have a modern kitchen area and a top of the range coffee machine if you need a caffeine fix. THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and client correspondence
  • Handle client onboarding, engagement letters, and data entry
  • Maintain electronic filing systems and ensure data confidentiality
  • Liaise with clients to gather documentation and answer queries
  • Prepare and manage jobs in our practice management system (XPM & FYI)
  • Process ASIC annual company statements / changes to company details using CAS360
  • Review client invoices in Xero for accuracy and send to clients for payment
  • Process client disbursements in line with firm procedures
  • Manage the processing of firm-related expense invoices via Hubdoc
  • Manage our lodgement program and liaise with the ATO as required
  • Coordinate with IT and software support teams
  • Support office operations, supplies, and procedures
  • Create and publish firm’s social media posts and blogs

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL NEED

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Client Services Administrator role within a Tax Accounting Practice
  • Efficient with XPM and Xero Tax, Fusesign, FYI and all Microsoft Office software
  • Demonstrate knowledge in all aspects of the role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with the ATO.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage large volumes of work
  • Possess a positive attitude and pleasant demeanour.
  • Hard-working and committed to the role and the organisation.
  • Desire to provide quality client service and support.
  • Meticulous and high attention to detail
  • High level of integrity and regard for confidentiality
  • Professional presentation
