The Miro & Atrio Apartments, located in the Heart of the Fortitude Valley, comprising of over 60 1 & 2 Bedroom Apartments, with an outstanding location and unique attributes is currently seeking a professional, motivated hands-on Housekeeping Manager to build and drive our New Internal Housekeeping Team.

As Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the full operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team performance across the property. You’ll lead a motivated team and drive continuous improvement in service standards.

Reporting to directly the General Manager you will be responsible for:

Proven success in a senior housekeeping leadership role in an Apartment Style Property.

In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, procedures, and standards.

Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and presentation.

A team-first attitude and commitment to excellence.

Ability to build teams from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to.

Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.

Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.

Manage inventory and cost control.

Uphold health, hygiene, and safety protocols.

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance) to ensure seamless guest service.

Respond to guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.

Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures.

Monitor and report on housekeeping performance, occupancy needs, and staffing levels.

Support onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing staff.

Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction at all times.
