HOUSEKEEPER / NANNY (FAMILY ASSISTANT)

Wonderful opportunity for an experienced FAMILY ASSISTANT to support our family of 4 with housekeeping and childcare duties in Teneriffe, Brisbane.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied role and who is highly organised, has a passion for housekeeping and keeping a tidy home AND also understands and enjoys working with kids. Someone that enjoys cooking or has experience cooking for a family would be highly advantageous. Someone that is warm and engaging, has a caring nature whilst also being a high performer and takes pride in their work. Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and tidy household, including general cleaning and laundry duties

Prepare meals mainly for children plus 2-3 dinners per week

Restock household supplies, manage grocery shopping, and handle various household errands as and when needed

Assist with children (3 + 6) including school pickups, drop-offs, and supervise after school activities

Organise wardrobes, cupboards and pantry to maintain a neat and tidy environment

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a busy family environment

Warm and positive personality, with a love for children and an active household

Reliable and flexible, with an ability to support occasional evening and weekend work

Strong organisational skills, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to the role

Confident preparing meals and cooking

Drivers license, reliable car and fully insured

Excellent contactable references

Candidates must have full working rights in Australia (Min 12month Visa)

JOB CONDITIONS:

Around 30 hours per week

Must be available for split shifts some days am and pm

Must be available for a shift on the weekend
