About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Plastic Welder to join our team, specialising in the fabrication and repair of large plastic tanks and related products. The role requires strong technical skills in welding and working with plastics commonly used in industrial and mining applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality welding and fabrication of plastic tanks and components.

Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

Intermediate level technical drawing interpretation skills are required.

Conduct repairs and modifications to existing plastic equipment.

Operate and maintain plastic welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.

Ensure all work meets strict quality standards and company specifications.

Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time and to client requirements.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment in line with WHS requirements.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in plastic welding, fabrication, or similar industry (e.g., mining, water treatment, manufacturing).

A minimum of 3-5 years of plastic welding experience is required.

Strong appreciation for quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Ability to work with different plastic types (e.g., PE, PP, PVC).

Familiarity with tank building, piping systems, or related fabrication highly regarded.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safe work practices.
