About the role

As a Full-Stack Shopify Developer at Sketch Australia Pty Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing our flagship e-commerce platform. Working within a collaborative and innovative team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising custom Shopify solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences and drive business success. This is a full-time position based in Cranbourne West, VIC.

What you'll be doing

Develop, customise and maintain Shopify themes, apps and integrations to meet client requirements

Implement seamless user journeys and optimise site performance and conversion rates

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions and solve complex technical challenges

Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify platform updates, best practices and industry trends

Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients

Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment processes to ensure high-quality solutions

What we're looking for

Significant experience (3+ years) as a full-stack Shopify developer, with a strong understanding of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API integrations

Proficient in developing custom Shopify themes and apps, and optimising Shopify stores for performance and conversions

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Experience with Git, task management tools and CI/CD processes

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, user experience design and SEO principles

Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest Shopify platform developments and industry trends
