The Role
We’re seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Developer with deep MEAN stack experience (MongoDB, ExpressJS, Angular, NodeJS) to maintain, optimise, and extend a legacy application.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and influence over technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and extend MEAN stack application(s).
Design and implement RESTful APIs and efficient database schemas.
Build responsive, accessible front-end components in Angular.
Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups.
Collaborate with designers to deliver UI that matches the intended UX.
Identify performance issues and propose optimisations.
Write and maintain automated tests to ensure long-term codebase quality.
Requirements
5+ years professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong experience with MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node.js.
Solid understanding of front-end performance optimisation and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong Git skills and familiarity with modern DevOps workflows.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of tasks.
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
UI/UX design experience.
Experience with React.
Experience with Flutter.
Experience with Go.
