The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Perth, WA on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the State Manager, you will play a key role in all aspects of foundation engineering including the tender, design and the project management function for a variety of civil and building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with securing work through efficient and safe design and tendering of foundation projects.

Review and analyse tender documents, provide accurate cost estimates, and submit tenders as per company processes.

Prepare and document safe, efficient, and cost-effective foundation designs in conjunction with management.

Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure all works conform to tender, design, and safety requirements.

Provide technical advice and support to project teams throughout the duration of the project.

Procure materials and coordinate plant requirements for assigned projects.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including tenders, reports, and quality assurance records.

Liaise effectively with clients, sub-contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by complying with relevant standards, regulations, and company procedures.

Undertake professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and industry standards.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (such as Structural, Geotechnical, or Construction Engineering) is required.

7-10 years experience in geotechnical/foundation, building, or civil engineering is essential.

Solid Project Management experience is essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software.

Commitment to safety, quality, and innovation.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
