About the role

We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Morisset Main Street Pharmacy. This is a full-time position focused on delivering quality customer service to the community.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate products or services

Working on the back counter, receiving and handing out prescriptions and S3 medication. Counselling customers on appropriate medications needed for cold and flu, pain management and other everyday medications.

Maintaining stock records and department management

Promoting and selling over-the-counter products with special attention given to add-on sales.

Ensuring a clean, organised, and welcoming pharmacy environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a competent and skilled Pharmacy Assistant

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems

A genuine interest in people, healthcare and a commitment to providing quality care to our patients

A team player, available to work flexible hours, punctual, honest and reliable.
