About the Opportunity

Club Northern Beaches Mackay is currently looking for an experienced Duty Manager to provide high quality shift management & customer service within our dynamic venue. This is a frontline role and requires an enthusiastic, hands on approach. Immediate start for the right candidate. This is a unique opportunity to join our team and become part of our exciting $17M redevelopment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate staff during shifts, ensuring tasks are completed to standard.

Act as the first point of contact for customers and staff, addressing queries, complaints, or incidents promptly.

Monitor daily operations to maintain service quality, safety, and compliance with policies.

Ensure the premises are secure, clean, and well-presented at all times.

Support staff development by providing guidance, feedback, and on-the-job training.

Handle cash management, reports, and end-of-shift procedures as required.

Make quick and effective decisions to resolve operational or customer service challenges.

Uphold workplace health and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

RSA, RSG, RMLV & Liquor Approved Managers License (Essential)

First Aid Certificate

Minimum 2 years experience in similar role

Must be available nights and weekends. (Essential)

Excellent customer service skills

Team player & lead a team by example

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Full drivers license
