Position Overview:
We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to join our team at Subway, Pacific Fair, in key roles that ensure the smooth operation of our store.
We are looking for multiple roles as follows;
Store Supervior
Sandwich Artist - Opener
Sandwich Artist - Closer
Whether you are opening, closing, or supervising the store, your enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail will contribute to a positive customer experience and a successful business.
**Opener Responsibilities:**
- Prepare fresh bread daily by following established baking procedures to maintain product quality.
- Set up the store before opening hours, ensuring displays are attractive, clean, and well-stocked.
- Handle banking duties accurately, including cash deposits and record-keeping.
- Organise and prepare the shift, coordinating with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient start to the day.
-Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
**Closer Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance to leave the store in impeccable condition at closing time.
- Conduct stock checks and ensure inventory is correctly stored and accounted for.
- Secure all cash and financial transactions, following company protocols to safeguard assets.
- Prepare the store for the next day’s operations, including restocking and organizing supplies.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
**Management Role:**
We are seeking a responsible, trustworthy, and proactive individual to take on the Store Supervisor role. This person will:
- Oversee daily store operations with minimal supervision, overseeing all team members and ensuring their adherence to company standards.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage scheduling, inventory control, and financial reporting.
- Handle any operational challenges efficiently and communicate effectively with upper management.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- Enthusiastic and friendly demeanour with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Previous experience in retail or food service is a plus, but not required.
