This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, qualified financial accountant with an auditing background to join an established West Australian business as it continues to increase its footprint and market share. They are a leader in their field and are customer-centric. You will be working in a professional environment with an experienced finance team, which is led by a supportive financial controller.

The Role

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Assist with the preparation of monthly board reports

Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts

Reconciliation of general ledger, bank accounts, debtors, creditors and other balance sheet accounts

Prepare and submit PAYG, FBT Returns, Payroll Tax and BAS

Cash flow monitoring and weekly reporting

Detailed monthly analysis and reporting of departmental costs

Support senior managers with relevant and up-to-date financial information

Review AR/AR ageing reports and contact customers regarding outstanding payments

Preparation of the company's fixed asset register

Liaising with external auditors

Corporate insurance maintenance and renewals

Ad-hoc reports and tasks as required

Requirements

Suitably qualified CA/CPA

Experience gained at one of the Big 4/Mid Tier Accounting Firms will be highly regarded

Confident communicator with highly developed written and verbal skills

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

Ability to take direction and work as part of a high-performing team

You need to be methodical, organised, and detail-oriented

Capable of multitasking and meeting tight deadlines

Self-motivated

Positive can-do attitude
