ROLE
We are seeking experienced mental health clinicians to join the Client Assist Contact Centre in APS6 roles.
In this role, you will provide 24/7 telephone-based intake, assessment, triage, and immediate clinical support, as well as referrals to appropriate services nationwide. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a vital national service that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Length: Initial 12-month contract, renewable for an additional 12 months
Location: Queen Street, Brisbane QLD

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide telephone-based intake, triage, risk assessment and brief interventions
Deliver immediate clinical mental health support and referrals to specialist/crisis services
Maintain accurate client records using the agency’s client management system
Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to coordinate care
Participate in CPD activities, supervision, and team initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
Australian Citizenship
Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
Current (or ability to obtain) Working with Children / Vulnerable People check
Professional registration/membership in one of the following:
AHPRA registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Nurse
Social Worker with AASW membership
Masters-qualified Counsellor with PACFA or ACA (Level 3/4)

Evidence of your mandatory qualifications

Ability to obtain baseline clearance
