About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Care Director to join a well-established residential aged care home just 10 minutes south of Bendigo’s city centre. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving clinical governance, resident care standards, and team leadership within a large home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong clinical leadership, governance, and oversight of care delivery

Lead accreditation, compliance, and quality standards for clinical care

Mentor and manage nursing and care teams to ensure high standards of practice

Drive resident care planning, assessment, and evaluation for resident-centred outcomes

Oversee funding optimisation and ensure accurate, timely documentation

Partner with the Residential Aged Care Manager on workforce planning and staff performance

Lead infection control, medication management, and incident response

Act as second-in-charge of the home when required

About You

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Minimum 3 years’ management experience at ward level or higher

Proven leadership within large residential aged care settings

Strong knowledge of accreditation, compliance, and aged care funding systems

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Resilient, adaptable, and collaborative leader who thrives in complex environments

Proficient with electronic care planning systems
