About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the rapidly growing team at Cruz Business Insurance as an Insurance Broking Trainee. As an Insurance Broking Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored insurance solutions to our diverse range of Commercial & Private Clients across New South Wales & Victoria. This full-time, office-based role is located in Caringbah, NSW.

You will receive structured on-the-job training while undertaking tertiary studies in Certificate IV in General Insurance, followed by Tier 1 in General Insurance Broking.

Cruz Business Insurance will cover the full cost of both qualifications, and you will be allocated three hours of paid study time per week to support successful completion.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist in the day-to-day operation of the insurance broking division, including client liaison, policy administration, compliance and issuing of policy documentation

Develop a strong understanding of insurance products, policies, and the broking process

Participate in ongoing training and development to obtain your Certificate of General Insurance

Contribute to the development of client relationships and the growth of the business

Provide exceptional customer service to our valued clients

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

A keen interest in the insurance industry and a drive to succeed in a customer-focused role

Willingness to undertake relevant industry training and qualifications

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is highly regarded, but not essential
