Neurock is Seeking an Experienced Business Development Manager – High-Performance Building Products (Channel & Direct)

Location: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba (Home-based with extensive travel)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of Pro Clima, a leading range of our airtightness and weather protection solutions, across the booming South-East Queensland building and development corridors.

This is a dynamic opportunity to shape the market for healthier, sustainable and energy-efficient building practices. You will drive demand by fostering strong relationships with our valued reseller partners and pursuing significant direct commercial project opportunities.

The Opportunity:

This pivotal role requires a strategic blend of technical sales, specifier engagement, and expert channel management. You will be responsible for:

Driving Specification & Demand: Educating and influencing architects, building designers, energy consultants, and builders to specify Neurock Pro Clima products for residential and commercial projects.

Strategic Channel Development & Management:

Nurturing and growing relationships with existing key reseller partners across their relevant branches and key trade accounts.

Identifying, on-boarding, and developing new reseller partnerships to expand Neurock's Pro Clima market reach and distribution footprint.

Providing comprehensive product training, sales support, and technical expertise to all reseller partners' sales teams.

Collaborating on joint sales calls, builder presentations, and promotional initiatives with partners.

Direct Project Acquisition: Proactively identifying, developing, and closing opportunities for Neurock on large-scale commercial, multi-residential, and high-performance building projects, where direct engagement is required.

Technical Expertise & Support: Acting as the primary technical resource for all reseller partners and their builder/specifier clients, offering expert guidance on product application, compliance, and best practice for airtightness and weather protection.

Market Intelligence: Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and partner/builder needs to inform sales and channel strategies.

About You:

You are a results-driven professional with:

Extensive Sales Experience (5+ years): A proven track record in B2B sales within the building materials, facade systems, technical insulation, or high-performance building products sectors.

Proven Channel Management Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing and growing sales through multiple distribution partners, including experience in identifying, recruiting, and enabling new resellers.

Well-Connected: An established network of builders, developers, architects, and strong existing relationships within major timber & hardware merchants and/or building material distributors across the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba regions.

Architectural/Specification Sales Acumen: Experience working with architects and building designers to get products specified will be well regarded.

Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and articulate complex technical product features and benefits, confidently engaging with engineers, building scientists, and trade professionals. Experience with building science, passive house principles, or advanced building envelopes is highly regarded.

Exceptional Communication & Training Skills: Confident in delivering compelling presentations and training sessions to diverse audiences, from trade counter staff to senior architects and management.

Strategic Thinker & Autonomous: Capable of developing and executing sales and channel strategies from a home-based office, managing a broad territory, and driving your own schedule with minimal supervision.

Full Australian Driver's License.

What We Offer:

Attractive Base Salary: $120,000 AUD per annum + Super (commensurate with multi-channel experience).

Strategic Commission Structure: A generous, uncapped commission model

Performance Bonuses: Additional quarterly and annual bonuses for achieving strategic KPIs related to overall channel growth, new reseller acquisition, new builder/specifier account activation, and direct project successes

On-Target Earnings (OTE): Expected $140,000 - $200,000+ AUD per annum for strong performers.

Vehicle: A generous car allowance + fuel card.

Tools of the Trade: Laptop, mobile phone, and access to our user-friendly CRM system.
