Fabricator - predominantly aluminium

We are looking for Fabricators/sheet metal workers with experience who enjoy what they do, we make a wide variety of work working for many industries. Working with Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel everyday can be something different at CP Metal Fabrication. Looking for people that have the ability to work efficiently, independently, and produce work to a high standard. We are predominantly looking for someone with Aluminium fabrication and welding experience so please don't apply unless you have this.

Laser cutting operator

to operate our 6kw laser machine working with all materials and thicknesses up to 20mm. Ideally after someone with experience of laser cutting.

We are offering permanent positions for the right candidate with the opportunity to start immediately.

We are a locally owned, well established business with a solid customer base, focusing on quality and customers needs. The work that we undertake is for a variety of industries from mining to medical with something new each day. The workshop is based in Pinkenba with a great set up. We have a great team with a number of people who have been in the industry for many years that are happy to share their knowledge. We have invested in new machinery and now also have Laser Welding as well as Laser cutting with state of the art press equipment. We enjoy what we do and want to mix work with fun.

Key Requirements

Completing or completed apprenticeship or doing similar work

TIG and MIG experience - Aluminium must have

Sheetmetal skills 1mm to 6mm (not heavy boilermakers)

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Ability to work independently with initiative and ability to work well in a team

Desirable Skills

Current Forklift license

Positive attitude

Ability to work using own initiative
