Job Title: Underground Fitter

Location: NSW and WA (DIDO or FIFO)

Are you an experienced Underground Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity in NSW or WA? We are offering competitive rates, additional benefits, and even-time rosters for a FIFO or DIDO position. Work utes will be available for some DIDO positions.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on underground equipment, specifically Cat, Sandvik, and Epiroc machinery.

Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and minimize downtime.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic/Underground Fitter, preferably in a mining or drilling environment.

In-depth knowledge of Cat, Sandvik, Normet, Jacon, and Epiroc underground equipment.

Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Relevant trade qualifications as a Fitter/Mechanic or equivalent.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.

Solid understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to work in remote locations as required for FIFO or DIDO arrangements.
