About the Role

As our Kitchen Hand, you’ll assist with daily kitchen operations including meal planning, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. You’ll ensure all dietary needs and allergies are carefully managed, contributing to a safe and inclusive mealtime experience for all children.

When our Kitchen Supervisor is away, you’ll step up to run the kitchen independently—so confidence and initiative are key.

About You

You’re a hands-on, team-oriented person who takes pride in preparing meals that nourish and delight. Ideally, you bring:

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role

A current Food Handling Certificate

Strong knowledge of food safety, storage, and allergy management

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

(Bonus) A nationally recognised cooking qualification
