As we prepare for our opening, we are looking for motivated Kitchen Hands to join our back-of-house team.

The Role
As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll support chefs with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure the kitchen operates in an organised and efficient way during service. This is a fast-paced role that requires energy, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, etc.)

Keep kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes clean, sanitised, and ready for use

Operate dishwashing equipment and manage kitchen cleaning schedules

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, floors, and storage

Handle deliveries and ensure correct storage of food and stock rotation (FIFO)

Support the team during busy service periods with flexibility and a “can-do” attitude

Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality role (preferred but not essential)

A strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure

Good communication and teamwork skills

Reliability and willingness to learn from senior chefs

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service times
