About the Opportunity

We are looking for experienced Support Workers to work in the Northern, Western and Southern suburbs of Adelaide. Staff will have the opportunity to work in our current Supported Independent Living Homes (SIL) as well as Community Participation shifts across these areas.

Components of the supports include in-home support, assistance with self-care, meal preparation with light domestic assistance, social engagement, and community access and participation.

About You

To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek likeminded support workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold.

In addition to our values, our support staff require mandatory compliance:

12 months or more experience as a Support Worker.

Experience with Mental Health and Eating Disorders is highly desirable.

Experience with Complex Behaviours is highly desirable.

Training in Dementia, Blindness Awareness and Stoma is highly desirable.

Willingness to travel to other locations if required.

Relevant qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or related industry)

Driver’s Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance.

NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Working with Children Check

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain.

Medication Administration Certificate or willing to obtain.

Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
