Ascention Properties is a Perth-based residential property developer delivering high-quality homes. We are growing and now seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson/Coordinator to join our team.

This is a full-time role starting on 1 October 2025, where you'll not only be responsible for preparing accurate drawings and documentation, but also play a hands-on role in trade management, procurement, and project delivery.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed working drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for residential projects

Collaborate with engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent is accurately represented

Produce clear, compliant drawings using CAD and other relevant software

Liaise with contractors and trades to ensure smooth project delivery

Manage trade scheduling and oversee performance against deadlines and quality standards

Coordinate procurement of building materials, including monitoring imports and delivery timelines

Liaise with clients, council authorities, and contractors to address queries and resolve technical issues

Keep up to date with building codes, industry standards, and best practices

What we're looking for

3–5 years' experience as an architectural draftsperson (residential preferred)

Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, or similar)

Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and technical documentation

Thorough knowledge of National Construction Code (NCC), Building Code of Australia (BCA), and relevant Australian Standards

Experience in trade management and procurement (advantageous)

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, compliant drawings

Strong communication and organisational skills to manage multiple stakeholders

Must have the right to work in Australia on a full-time basis

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Building Design, or related field
