Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children.

Develop individualised therapy plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each child.

Provide evidence-based intervention and therapy to children with various speech and language difficulties.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to therapy.

Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.

Provide support and guidance to families, empowering them to actively participate in their child's communication development.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, progress reports, and outcome measures.

Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of paediatric speech pathology.

Requirements

Bachelor's OR Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.

Registration with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Flexibility to travel to various locations within Melbourne.

Working with children check.

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
