With established operations in Spearwood and Osborne Park and a brand-new site in Mandurah, we’re expanding! We are looking for either a Clinical Trial Coordinator or a Clinical Trial Assistant on a part time or a full time basis for our Osborne Park site.
The role of Clinical Trial Coordinator focuses on the care, safety and co-ordination of participants in clinical trials. The primary focus of this role is ensuring that clinical trials are conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and each study protocol. In this role you will also be responsible for:
Recruiting and screening participants to determine their eligibility for trials;
Collecting and documenting trial data as required by the study protocols (including vital signs, ECGs, spirometry, blood, sputum and other sample);
Managing investigator site files; and
Participating in monitoring visits and phone calls with CRAs.
The role of Clinical Trial Assistant supports the clinical research team in the day-to-day operations of clinical trials conducted at the site. This role is essential for maintaining trial documentation such as Investigator Site Files (eISF), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the execution of study protocols in accordance with GCP. In addition this role is also responsible for:
Scheduling and coordinating study visits, appointments and other trial-related activities;
Supporting participant recruitment by managing pre-screening logs and communication with potential participants;
Assisting with the preparation of study-related correspondence, reports, data capture and documentation, together with other administrative tasks;
Assisting with biospecimen processing and sample handling documentation together with logistics of materials.
About You
As the successful candidate you will have a tertiary qualification in health or biological science with some prior clinical trial experience preferred. You must have meticulous attention to detail and well-developed computer skills.
The ability to work in a professional manner and be accountable for your work is required for success in this role. Whilst the role works closely with a small team, you must also be able to work independently.
The successful candidate will have well-developed oral and written English language skills and be an Australian citizen or have Australian work rights.
