We are looking to welcome an Experienced dental assistant with some experience working in a clinic environment, and can demonstrate the skills, ability and attitude for this unique and rewarding opportunity.

You will be an integral part of our practice, supporting our dentists in providing high-quality patient care. This is a four-day week position (possibly 5 days in future), and you will be based in our modern, well-equipped dental clinic located in the heart of Subiaco, walking distance from Subiaco train station. We have a large Cosmetic Aestheitc Client base and offer services ike Invisalign, Composite and Porcelain Veneers, Zoom Teeth Whitening, Splints/Retainers/Aligners , masseteres plus same day porcelain or zirconia crowns , onlyas/inlays. We have 3Dprinting / Cerec inhouse set up.

What you'll be doing

Experience in Dental nursing.

Competency with dental software ( Praktika ) or Similar . Training can be provided.

Ability to support reception with administrative tasks.

Helping out with suppliers, inventory, ordering & stock management.

Have a good understanding of sterilization Autoclave process.

A professional demeanor.

An empathetic and positive personality.

Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures

Providing exceptional customer service to our patients

Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in dental assisting or a similar healthcare field

Certificate III in Dental Assisting (HLT35021) or equivalent recognised qualification

Experience working as front office / DA, preferably in a private Cosmetic practice setting.

Minimum 2 years' experience working as a dental assistant in a private practice

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilization.

Proficiency in using dental software and technology

Proficiency in dental practice management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and HICAPS

A genuine interest in dentistry and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

Current knowledge of infection prevention and control protocols in dental settings

Cosmetic and General Treatments Exposure.

Familiarity with Praktika Dental software is a bonus but happy to provide training.

Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa
