Global Remuneration Analyst

Location: Canberra (Barton)

Contract: 12 months, with potential for up to 2 × 12-month extensions

This position is ideal for someone with strong Excel and PowerQuery capability who can manage complex datasets, lead annual remuneration processes, and provide evidence-based insights that shape remuneration frameworks across a global workforce.

Key Accountabilities

Deliver annual remuneration reviews for overseas posts, ensuring salary and benefits remain aligned with market expectations.

Use actuarial data and external benchmarks to recommend defensible adjustments.

Maintain and continuously improve remuneration models in Excel/PowerQuery, including annual rollovers, data mapping, formula checks, and enhanced usability.

Validate data integrity and document processes clearly for compliance and audit purposes.

Source and integrate market data, managing relationships with external remuneration providers.

Coordinate global remuneration surveys and oversee the accuracy of results.

Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on remuneration policy, quality assurance, and risk management.

Collaborate with overseas posts and internal stakeholders to capture local employment context.

Represent the agency in discussions with external partners.
