About the role

We currently have a vacancy for a skilled Automotive Upholsterer/Trimmer to join our team. This full time role is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise and take on a variety of trimming projects within the business.

Carrying out vehicle interior upholstery repairs and modifications

Trimming and re-trimming seats, door panels, headliners and other vehicle interior components

Utilising a range of upholstery tools and equipment to complete high-quality work

Consulting with customers to understand their requirements and provide recommendations

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Contributing to the overall success and growth of the automotive upholstery department

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident is essential - applications from those who do not satisfy this requirement will not be considered

A minimum of 3+ years’ documented experience in automotive trimming or upholstery - is essential

A thorough understanding of vehicle interior components and materials - experience with Defenders and classic Porsches an advantage

Completion of Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology would be highly regarded

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, precise work

Proficiency in using upholstery tools and equipment, including sewing machines, form shaping, and trimming tools

A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently as well as part of a team
