We provide new & used sales for commercial vehicles and construction equipment, along with service, spare parts and finance for a wide range of clients in transport, warehousing, construction, infrastructure, civil works, waste management and government bodies.

STM Trucks & Machinery is an authorised dealer for industry leading brands like Iveco, Fuso, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Kobelco, ASV, Merlo, Hydrema, New Holland and many more.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automotive Stock Controller to join our fast paced Smeaton Grange branch. The position is on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package.

About the role:

Process wholesale vehicle ordering & invoicing with our manufacturers

Coordination of new and used vehicles into inventory

Maintain stock control systems - to provide accurate real-time information

Monitor scheduled arrival of inventory from manufacturers

Allocation of vehicles for retail sales orders

Continuous auditing of our floor plan facilities

Monitor locations of vehicles and update delivery schedules accordingly

Provide monthly site audit reports of all stock units

Maintain inventory stock reporting

Maintain monthly retail delivery reporting

Organise keys, service & owners manuals

Organise freight to the dealership when required

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

Knowledge of Automotive Dealership systems (Auto IT - PMDS experience would be highly regarded)

Previous Stock Controller experience is essential

Excellent administration & time management skills

Professional verbal & written communications skills

Ability to engage with multiple departments and stakeholders

Ability to take direction and follow processes

Attention to detail - you have a keen eye for the finer details
