The Regional Finance Coordinator is responsible for accounting and financial support to the region including support to our volunteer sub-centres. This is an exciting and varied role where you will have the opportunity to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to the business.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee support to our volunteer sub centres in relation to financial governance, training in the Volunteer Accounting System and review of monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet Statements (including completion of bank reconciliations).
- Prepare and submit Career location budgets and forecasts, in line with corporate timetable and guidelines, analysis of trends and discussions with managers of expected outcomes.
- Month end process for Career locations, which includes preparation of journals and variance analysis to ensure reasonableness of financials.
- Management of Regional Finance Officer.
- Ad-hoc analysis and project support to the Regional Team and Senior Management Accountant
- The role also requires travel within the Southwest region and quarterly travel to the Belmont State Office in Perth.
What you’ll need:
- Ability to work with volunteers
- Ability to prioritise and time manage
- High degree of attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- CA/CPA (desirable not essential)
- Driver’s licence.
