You will be the central contact point for all regional automotive, radio and medical equipment service activities. The position will support paid, hybrid and volunteer locations in the maintenance and scheduling of regional vehicles, radio equipment, mast sites and medical equipment and devices.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the central contact point for all regional automotive, radio and medical equipment service activities.
- Ensure regional automotive, radio and medical equipment service queries are responded to within three business days.
- Identify, establish a preferred supplier list for automotive, radio and medical equipment Services in regional locations in conjunction with the procurements team.
- Create a clear and decisive service and maintenance plan/schedule for both career and volunteer fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure all service records and service history is maintained and entered on the Fleet Maintenance System.
- Collaborate with the Planning Lead to utilise internal Automotive Services, where regional locations may be remote or unable to obtain automotive services within the region
- Provide fortnightly reports to line manager on work items that have been completed, incomplete and outstanding (7 business days or more).
- Maintain a work register for activities in regional locations.
What you’ll need:
- Service Advisor/ Manager in the Automotive, Radio or Medical Equipment industry with at least 5 years’ experience OR;
- Similar Coordinator’s role in a service industry with at least 5 years’ experience
- C Class drivers’ license
- Strong knowledge of regional locations
- Ability to regularly travel to regional locations
