Your next career opportunity
As a Project Manager for the Berry Street Education Model trial, you'll play a crucial role in conducting a school-based randomised controlled trial across Victorian primary schools. You'll gain invaluable experience in managing research activities, from supervising data collection to liaising with key stakeholders. This role offers you the chance to directly impact education outcomes and contribute to cutting-edge research in trauma-informed strategies within classrooms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage Research Activities: Supervise research assistants, ensure ethics adherence, and oversee data collection and management.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with research partners, schools, and families to facilitate study implementation.
  • Contribute to Project Deliverables: Develop data protocols, conduct basic analyses, and contribute to publications arising from the project.
  • Ensure Project Progress: Manage day-to-day tasks, organise team meetings, and address issues impeding project advancement.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated and versatile professional with a tertiary qualification and experience in research activities within primary schools, possessing excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.

You may also:

  • Have completed an Honours/Master's degree in a relevant discipline with significant research experience.
  • Possess outstanding organisational skills, including project administration and budgeting expertise.
  • Demonstrate high-level time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Have experience in conducting objective child assessments in school settings.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Be proficient in using project management software and data analysis tools.
