Are you passionate about fashion retail management and delivering excellent customer service? We’re looking for a sharp, commercially minded Retail Manager to lead our very first sleep & loungewear store based in Melbourne CBD. In this role you will oversee retail store operational performance, drive revenue and profitability while managing team KPI’s. We are looking for someone with high attention to detail and adaptable mindset who can lead a new team to contribute to the continued growth of our brand.
What You’ll Do
Successfully lead, plan and operate the retail store to maximize sales and deliver incredible customer service.
Monitor market and competitor sales trends and direct customer feedback to optimise retail strategies.
Ensure highly motivated retail team with a high attention to detail and pride in a beautifully presented store.
Execute planned VM updates and in-store promotions in collaboration with head office Marketing team
Monitor and Identify stock issues and opportunities utilising Gingerlilly or curated external products.
Provide weekly sales and product reporting to head office.
Be a key brand ambassador, requiring in-depth knowledge of all products carried in-store and online
Responsible for the workplace health and safety within the store to minimize injury, damage and loss to both individual and the company
Develop, monitor and maintain store rosters in line with wage budgets, individual performance at peak trade times as approved by senior management
Ensure high standards of service are consistently maintained by all store staff members in line with brand values and company policies.
Maintain and update promotional materials and displays
Floor stock to be maintained and replenished in line with VM guidelines to maximize sales.
Collaborate with operations and e-commerce team to ensure seamless omni-channel experience.
Who You Are
You are an experienced retail sales leader who combines a people-first attitude with a highly organised hands on approach.

Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail
Adaptable and comfortable with change
Genuine passion for fashion, people and retail service
Skills & Experience
Shopify POS systems experience preferable
Minimum 5 years fashion retail store experience with at least 2 as Store Manager
Visual Merchandising & Styling
Sales and budget planning
Weekly sales results analysis and reporting
Strong planning and process driven approach
Ability to work within a budget
Strong understanding of customer service techniques
Proven history of effectively developing team members
