Full time Position based in the St Kilda area for a Grocery Manager in an Upmarket Retail Store.

A positive individual who has excellent customer service and can take ownership and responsibility for managing our front-end and grocery department.

We are looking for a hands on experienced leader, who can lead our team, ensuring that they are trained and informed to enable our consistent growth and continuous excellence in customer service.

As a Grocery Manager you will have proven experience in this role. Your Retail industry experience, Knowledge and insight will inform and drive your team, relationships with suppliers and help to identify new opportunities.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of operations.

You will have:

Proven leadership role

Hands on Can Do approach and ownership of responsibility

Strong communication and conflict resolution ability

Knowledge of our industry and knowledge of product.

Problem solving and an eye for Detail.

Ability to Coach, Mentor and Motivate your Staff.

Strong Communication and Organisational Skills

Your Role:

Stock purchasing and management and Inventory control

Rostering and management of Staff

Manage OH&S in the Store

Communicate with Current and Prospective Suppliers

Add to our product lines.

Report to the Store Manager
