About the role
We have a permanent opportunity joining our Operations Services team, where you’ll provide high voltage electrical technical support by performing inspection, maintenance and repair for a range of HV electrical assets and systems across the state. Based in our Canning Vale office, this role will be reporting to our Team Leader - High Voltage Maintenance.

What the role will involve
- Perform maintenance activities on a range of high voltage (HV) electrical assets and systems
- Conduct, coordinate or witness inspection and testing, such as factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and site acceptance testing
- Prepare comprehensive progress, inspection, testing and defect reports
- Assist with investigations of HV electrical assets and systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and issues
- Provide technical advice on the analysis of HV electrical faults, failures and asset health
- Participate in complex diagnostic and functional testing on HV protection assets and electronic control equipment to meet manufacturer’s specifications and legislative requirements
- Some occasional travel will be required
Key skills and experience
You’ll have a WA Electrical workers licence, nationally accredited HV switching operator qualification UET12 and UEP12, along with substantial experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical assets. You’ll also have experience testing, commissioning and maintaining HV electrical infrastructure assets. A drivers licence is also mandatory for this role.
