Business and Pleasure Co. is opening our first Australian Flagship Store, located in Byron Bay.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager with a passion for Furniture and Design, who is prepared to lead the establishment of the new store, local processes and staff management.

The position will commence in mid-October, once we gain access to our new 350sqm showroom.

This is a rare opportunity to join a fast growing Australian outdoor furniture brand that is rapidly expanding into Bricks and Mortar Retail.

We are searching for an experienced Store Manager who will:

· Implement store policies and procedures to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

· Create business strategies to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and improve store profitability

· Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner

· Design and arrange in-store displays

· Oversee Store functions including but not exclusive to inventory transfers, returns, stock take, systems workflow, etc.

· Support Head Office with other system and customer related tasks

· Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff

· Day to day management & leadership of the team members

· Be a team player and a positive addition to our company culture

Key experience and skills include;

· 2yrs+ of Retail Management Experience, preferably in Furniture Retail

· Microsoft Office, Cin7, Shopify Plus POS and Gorgias experience a major plus

· Must be comfortable handling and assembling furniture, able to lift 20 kgs.

· Strong people management, team leadership, organisational and operations skills

· High level problem solving and decision-making ability

· Commercially driven and focused on achieving KPI targets
