Dr Andy Wills ENT surgeon is seeking a person with experience in a medical environment to fill our role of Medical Secretary in a permanent part-time position in a private practice in Ultimo.

The Role:

Part time 9am-5:30pm 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday Required)

Provide secretarial support to a specialist surgical practice.

Secretarial responsibilities ranging from telephone calls, making appointments, printing and sending off letters and other tasks that may be expected of a secretary working for a busy surgeon.

All aspects of diary management.

Private & Medicare billing & processing.

Daily scanning of clinical documents.

Completion of end of day reconciliation & banking preparation.

Daily sterilising of instruments

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience working within a specialist surgical environment is preferable however not essential for the right candidate

Previous experience with Genie Medical Software is essential

Excellent people skills to relate well to patients, staff and healthcare professionals as well as being a team player.

Ability to multitask.

Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.

Flexibility to cover for annual and sick leave.
