About the Role:

As part of our local and offshore based Engineering team you'll be integral in the technical delivery of solar, battery storage, and EV charging solutions for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects from 100kW to >5MW.

We have an extremely healthy pipeline of interesting projects that will challenge you and expand your experience.

You’ll become a part of a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement aiming at high standards across every project.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems for commercial solar, battery storage, and electric vehicle charger EPC projects.

Ensure that designs comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

Use AutoCAD, PVsyst, Meteocontrol, Skelion, and Orkestra software to create detailed designs and models of electrical systems.

Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that designs meet project requirements and constraints.

Provide technical advice and support to the project team and clients.

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that installations meet design specifications and standards.

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements in the field of electrical engineering.

Ensure that designs are cost-effective and deliver value to the business.

What You’ll Bring:

Electrical Engineering Degree (NER, RPEQ desirable).

SAA Accredited Designer (GCPV, GCBS Design)

Solid experience designing and delivering solar, battery/BESS, and EV charging projects.

Expertise with Engineering Design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, Orkestra, and PSCAD or similar

Deep understanding of Australian Standards and grid connection requirements.

Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams.
