The opportunity

Our client, a highly respected national brand, is seeking an experienced People and Capability Business Partner to join our client's team in Bairnsdale & Gippsland, Victoria. This is a full-time role that will play a vital part in supporting our clients to develop and retain top talent.

Key responsibilities

Partnering with team leaders to understand their strategic people objectives and develop tailored talent management strategies

Providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and career development

Driving initiatives to build organisational capability and promote a positive, high-performing culture

Identifying and implementing innovative HR solutions to address key people challenges

Analysing workforce data to uncover insights and inform strategic decision-making

Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless employee experiences

Staying up-to-date with HR best practices and legislative changes

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a HR business partner or consultant, ideally within a manufacturing environment preferred

Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with broader organisational goals

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and build relationships at all levels

Demonstrated success in leading change and driving continuous improvement

Proficient in using HR data and analytics to inform decision-making

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
