About us

DC (Darlinghurst Central) Medical Centre is a boutique, modern practice with a brand new, fully computerised fit out. We work like a close knit small business, so everyone pitches in to keep the practice running smoothly and efficiently. You will have real ownership over your work, variety in your day, and support to grow your skills.

The role

You will deliver high quality, patient centred nursing care and help with the day to day running of the clinic. You will work across three private GP rooms and a dedicated treatment room that will feel like your own office.

Employment type: Casual to start, with a pathway to full time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm (after hours will be available in the coming months)

Responsibilities

Clinical

Triage patients and support GPs during consults

Immunisations and cold chain management

Pathology collection

Wound care

Assist with minor procedures

Access to optional upskilling courses (Nurse Immuniser, Cervical Screening Tests, Cannulation)

Practice support

Manage stock and consumables

Monitor results and coordinate recalls

Patient billing and Medicare workflows

Liaise with doctors, admin, and allied health

Contribute to RACGP Accreditation tasks

Work directly with the Practice Manager on day to day operations

Do not worry if you are still building some of these skills. If you are confident, proactive, and keen to learn, we will train you on the job.
