The Opportunity
We are now looking for an Operations Support to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the role
This full time multi-faceted position is suited to an appropriately skilled, self-motivated and energetic person with the ability to work autonomously within a small team. Your primary base will be at the Mackay depot.
As the Operations Support, you will be supporting the following duties:
Assist in the scheduling of rosters and to ensure that all information is captured in relevant systems;
Assist in the scheduling of medical appointments and accommodation bookings as and when required;
Assist in liaising with Workshop team to plan fleet availability;
Managing and administering Dry Hire;
Ensuring all amendments to runs are updated;
Assist with the Basic Fatigue Management process;
On call after hours phone roster;
Ensure effective communication to all stakeholders;
Provide leadership on safety, services, and routes;
Assist with managing drivers’ responsibilities;
Logistical arrangements for operational services;
You may be required to perform duties at various depots/satellite sites or elsewhere as reasonably directed;
Other duties as required.
Skills and experience
Preferred but not essential: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Bus industry or bus driving experience is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Details-orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A strong desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
Preferred MR driver’s licence.
