About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practice Nurse to join our team at the Coorong Medical Centre in Meningie, SA. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a general practice setting
• Performing clinical duties such as wound care, immunisations, and health assessments
• Assisting doctors with examinations and procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical protocols
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Contributing to the smooth running of the practice by undertaking administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a General Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and the healthcare team
• Proficiency in using clinical software and electronic medical record systems
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
