About the role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team at ENTSA in Kent Town, SA. As a casual Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care and support to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse. Hours will be two days a week (Wednesday, Thursday) with flexibility to cover leave when required.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive nursing care and support to patients

Tasks include theatre bookings, pre-operative preparation of patients for surgery, answering post-operative queries and questions, instrument sterilisation, minor wound dressings, performing audiograms (training provided)

Some administration work may be required as well (taking phone calls, patient bookings, billing)

Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure the seamless delivery of services

Maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Assisting with the management of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring the clinical environment is well-maintained and safe

Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and medical advancements

What we're looking for

Nurse with a current practising certificate

Minimum 2 years of experience in a general nursing role

Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality nursing care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

A commitment to patient-centered care and a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes

Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and other relevant technology

Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays
