Community Services Trainee
Level 1 - $45,837.90- $81,117.20 per annum + 12% superannuation + Cert IV in Business Administration

Your Traineeship
As a Community Services Trainee you'll support the various functions of the Community Services team. This hands-on role offers real-world experience, professional development, and a pathway to a nationally recognised qualification (Cert IV in Business).
What You'll Be Doing
As a Community Services trainee you'll be:
Providing administrative support across the Youth & Community Development and Arts, Events & Culture teams.
Work as part of a team to develop, plan and organise activities, events and various programs for the community.
Ensuring corporate documentation is captured - in accordance with the Town's record keeping system and Record Keeping Plan you'll ensure all documentation is captured correctly.
Compliance with legislation - Ensure compliance with the relevant Acts of legislation including but not limited to Work Health and Safety Act 202 and Regulations 2022, statutory requirements and work instructions.
This position is based on a fixed-term opportunity of 18 months whilst you complete your Certificate IV in Business Administration as part of a traineeship. You'll also be working alongside experienced team members every step of the way.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain)
- Provide First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Current 'C' class driver's license or ability to travel to various sites as operationally required
- Rights to work in Australia
