Join a growing business based in Sydney's Inner West as a Group Financial Accountant as part of a close knit team.
In this an office based role where you will be responsible for all financial accounting processes and reviewing payroll on a weekly and fortnightly basis.

The role

Reporting directly to the CFO and managing two direct reports, you'll be responsible for:

• Month end and year-end group financials with commentary
• Reviewing payroll processed by the team
• Payroll, journals, reconciliations and cashflow reporting
• Tax lodgements (BAS, PAYG, FBT), super and statutory obligations
• Managing fixed assets, intercompany transactions and trade finance
• Budgeting, forecasting and system/process improvements
• Supporting audits, analytics, and business projects

About you

• CA/CPA qualified with strong experience in financial accounting
• Handson experience with payroll processing and reviewing - you will be reviewing the payroll processed my the team so this is essential
• Knowledge of EBAs and awards
• Confident managing staff and working across business units
• Skilled in Excel and familiar with ERP systems
• Background in manufacturing or project based industries highly regarded
• Solutions-focused, hands-on and collaborative by nature
