This market leading manufacturing business are dominating their competitors, operating Australia wide, and experiencing good growth across all sectors. With their entrepreneurial way of working, they've seen huge success in recent times which has resulted in the continued expansion of their workforce, and an increase in the number of projects they're now leading on.

This Financial Accountant role will be responsible for overseeing and delivering both payroll and financial accounting functions for the organisation. Reporting into an impressive CFO and having direct line of sight to the Managing Director, the Financial Accountant is a critical hire at an exciting time to join this business. Duties will include:

Prepare and review of financial statements & management reports

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Provide financial insights and advice to senior leadership teams

Ad-hoc assistance with AP/AR

Process fortnightly payroll, ensuring compliance with awards, legislation, and company policies

Superannuation payments, payroll tax, PAYG

Maintenance of employee records

Generate payroll reports for HR, Finance, and other management

Play a lead role in annual audits

To be considered, you will be CA/CPA qualified, or working towards your qualification, and have a strong background in both payroll and financial reporting, ideally within a medium to large sized organisation. You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
