About the role

We're looking for a Superstar Senior Public Practice Tax Accountant or a Senior Bookkeeper.

The role is Perth based so only apply if you are based in Perth and willing to work onsite and office.

What you'll be doing

Manage all bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and reporting.

Prepare and lodge monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns for small businesses.

Experience preparing and lodging BAS/IAS statements

Provide strategic financial advice to clients to help them achieve their business goals.

Liaise with clients, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of their accounts.

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.

Supervise and mentor junior members of the accounting team.

Creating training material, guides, templates, etc. for our internal team & clients.

Marketing. Networking Meetings. Creating Business Referral Relationships.

Creating some content for social media, Business Strategies & assisting with Admin Tasks.

This is a very open ended role. You decide how much you earn and where you take this role.

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.

Experience preparing financial statements and management reports.

CPA or CA qualification highly desirable.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior bookkeeping or tax accounting role.

Proficient in the use of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.

Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and client service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
