At IDF, we’re launching our own food brand — producing fudge, popcorn, and artisan oils in-house, while also building capability to mold chocolate, bake biscuits, coat nuts in chocolate, and craft biscotti. These products will reach customers directly and through our growing corporate hamper business.

As a Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of both — driving quality food production while training, mentoring, and supporting our team of Supported Employees.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Food Production Supervisor who can help us shape and scale our brand from the ground up.

This is more than just managing production — it’s a chance to:

Lead the daily operations of our food production lines.

Maintain the highest food safety and quality standards.

Train and coach Supported Employees, building their skills and confidence in real workplace settings.

Contribute to new product development as we expand our range.

Support stock management and production planning as our hamper business grows.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day production of fudge, popcorn, oils, and other new products in development.

Ensure compliance with NSW Food Authority regulations and HACCP standards (cleaning schedules, SOPs, record keeping, etc.).

Train Supported Employees in safe food handling, production, and workplace practices.

Maintain accurate food safety and stock control records.

Work collaboratively with management to plan product trials, packaging, and fulfilment for consumer and corporate markets.

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

Have experience in food production or commercial food manufacturing.

Understand food safety compliance (HACCP knowledge highly regarded).

Enjoy teaching, mentoring, and empowering people — especially those with diverse abilities.

Communicate clearly and patiently, with a supportive and inclusive approach.
