The Opportunity:

We're on the hunt for a sign maker / production & a CNC operator (2 positions) who are excited to work with recognised national brands & events, in a modern print and signage facility.

The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail & ideally experienced within the print/signage industry.

We offer an attractive salary with performance bonuses throughout the year.

Our operating hours are:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4pm

Friday: 7:30 - 1:30pm (Paid until 4pm)

On any given day at the ZOO you will find yourself :

Managing and operating CNC & Laser cutters (including file setup)

Application of LED's and soldering of illuminated signage

Fabricate signage using our letter bending machine

manufacture / fabrication of high quality signage. (Everything completed in- house)

Testing and Prototyping

Operating our flatbed cutter, printers & laminator (optional & training provided)

Weeding, trimming & taping various vinyl projects.

Applying Vinyl to various substrates

Liaising with the team to manage workflow & production

Completing projects for relatable and national brands.

Working alongside Australia's biggest events and music festivals

Producing some exciting pop-up and in store activations

Being a part of the process from start to finish.

Key Skills:

Experience with Laser cutters, CNC routers & Channel bending machine

Good communication skills

Reliable with a positive attitude

Hold a current drivers license (manual advantageous)

Experience in the production, manufacture and installation of high quality signage & print material.

Ability to read and understand in house proof sheets, architectural drawings, scope of works and general shop fitting plans (where required).

Work within timeframes and in a fast paced environment

Ability to problem solve proactively

Our equipment:

HP R2000, HP 700W, Summa flatbed cutter, Graphtec plotter, laminator, channel letter bending machine, Multicam CNC router, C02 laser cutter & laser welder .
