Chase Power Pty Ltd, a reputable Brisbane-owned and operated company, is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team. We specialize in supplying single and three phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and other power quality products to customers across Australia. Position Overview

Selling UPS systems is a specialized task that requires technical knowledge. We will provide ongoing comprehensive technical training for the right candidate. Our customers typically buy and resell our products alongside a range of other products and services relevant to their areas of expertise.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, particularly with a focus on technical products or industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, as you will need to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively. You should be adept at navigating past gatekeepers and possess proven negotiation skills, along with experience in contract discussions and closing deals.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include finding and onboarding new customers, as well as identifying new opportunities for growth within existing business relationships. You will be instrumental in driving our expansion efforts and enhancing our customer base, contributing to the overall success of our team and organization.

Work Environment

Our territory is expansive, with the majority of work conducted from our headquarters in Ormiston. While most of your work will be local, some travel may be required, necessitating a valid Australian driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Occasional travel to distant locations may also be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage business with established customers in various fields, including IT, security, and electrical wholesaling.

Build strong relationships and gain in-depth knowledge of customer needs.

Requirements

Legal right to work in Australia without sponsorship.

Reside within a 30-minute drive of Ormiston QLD for reliability and ease of commute.

Standard working hours are 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
