About The Role:
Gardian are seeking an integral member to fill a full-time position in our Mackay office. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible in managing 150 residential properties, including liaising with tenants and landlords. Conduct and action maintenance requests and routine inspections. Prepare leasing documents, entry and exit reports. Liaise with tenants, landlords and tradespeople when required and co-ordinate the general day-to-day of your own portfolio and meet KPIs.
You’ll have a genuine interest in people as you’ll be dealing with key stakeholders such as owners, tenants, tradespeople, and colleagues through to all manner of people within other Gardian departments. You’ll need to be organised and a whiz at time management too, as you’ll be managing tasks related to many properties at any one time. Essentially, you’ll be joining a flexible group that work together to ensure a collective positive result is achieved for all tasks related to sales. To be successful in this role, you will need:
A proven, genuine interest in people with demonstrated past success in building effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
Familiar with residential tenancy law and basic residential property maintenance needs
Proven working experience in Property Management.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to work harmoniously, both one-on-one and collaboratively in past roles.
Working knowledge of PropertyMe desirable
Proficient in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
A demonstrated commitment to continual improvement, innovation, and learning.
Real Estate Registration Certificate or Licence.
Current full Australian driver’s license
