Exciting Opportunity – Operations Manager – Contractor

We’re expanding our portable room rental business into South Australia and are looking for the right person to join us in this exciting growth phase.

Our customers use their rooms for home offices, extra bedrooms, businesses, studios and loads more. We currently operate in Victoria, NSW and ACT and soon to be South Australia. Check us out at www.roomtomove.com.au

This role is hands-on and will involve managing the day-to-day operations in the region, including:

Deliveries, setup, and pickups of portable rooms

Pre-delivery site assessments

Basic maintenance of rooms

Providing in-market support alongside our head team

The role offers flexibility, requiring around 1–2 days per week for the first 12–24 months and then more as the business grows.

What we offer:

A generous contractor remuneration

100% of room movement income

A percentage of rental income, creating long-term passive earnings as the regional portfolio grows

All equipment (excluding vehicle), including trailer and transport system, provided

Full training and ongoing support

What you’ll need:

A suitable vehicle with a 3.5t towing capacity

Experience towing and reversing trailers and managing large loads

Good communication and customer service and problem-solving skills

Physical fitness, with the ability to lift to 35kg

Flexibility within your weekly schedule

An entrepreneurial mindset to help grow and promote the business locally
